Psst, we're first time farmers...

Yup, it’s true. For Eilidh, farming is in the blood – with grandparents who had a dairy and arable farm in Oxfordshire and her dad spending much of his younger years farming on the Isle of Skye. Lloyd grew up with an addiction to chickens… you heard right! Both Eilidh and Lloyd had a deep love of countryside before they met and so when their paths crossed, they began the adventure of finding a farm that they could call theirs.

With no farming experience at all but a deep passion for animals, food heritage and community – they were able to secure buying Arngask Home Farm, just outside Glenfarg where Eilidh grew up.

Now, three years into owning Arngask Home Farm, Eilidh and Lloyd are passionate about stewardship and diversifying to make farming possible. The farm started with chickens, then pigs, then veg and has grown steadily since. More than anything, they believe a farm is to be shared and so they try to open their home up as much as possible for visitors. Alongside other farms, they organise seasonal events that are unique and unforgettable.

There are many plans ahead for the farm, so follow along on their socials, or by the email newsletter to keep up to date.
